Order issued in SC17-882: The Appellate Court Rules Committee's "Motion for Rehearing" filed in the above styled case seeking newly proposed amendments to language added to Florida Rules of Appellate Procedure 9.146 and 9.210 in In re Amendments to the Florida Rules of Appellate Procedure -2017 Regular-Cycle Report, 43 Fla. L. Weekly S508 (Fla. Oct 25, 2018) is hereby denied. The Court has treated the motion as a proper out-of-cycle report and a new case styled In Re: Amendments to the Florida Rules of Appellate Procedure 9.146 and 9.210, Case No. SC18-1917 has been set up. See Fla. R. Jud. Admin. 2.140(e)(1).
FSC-OPINION: Accordingly, we amend the Florida Rules of Appellate Procedure as set forth in the appendix to this opinion. New language is indicated by underscoring; deletions are indicated by struck-through type. The amendments shall become effective on January 1, 2019, at 12:03 a.m. Because the amendments were not published for comment prior to their adoption, interested persons shall have seventy-five days from the date of this opinion in which to file comments with the Court. It is so ordered.
