Appellant's motion requesting that this Court relinquish jurisdiction of the above cause to the circuit court for the purpose of reconstructing the record to include the full Curtis Wright proffer video is denied. Appellant's second motion to supplement the record is granted. Click to open document 02/03/2023 Death Penalty ORDER-COUNS APPOINTMENT (POST-CONVICTION) Pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.851(b), the Office of the Capital Collateral Regional Counsel-Southern Region is hereby appointed to handle postconviction proceedings for appellant. The Office of the Capital Collateral Regional Counsel-Southern Region shall, within thirty days from this date of this order, file a notice of appearance in the trial court or a motion to withdraw based on a conflict of interest or some other legal ground. A copy of the notice of appearance or motion to withdraw shall be served on the Florida Supreme Court. In accordance with this Court's opinion issued in Amendments to Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure 3.851, 3.852, and 3.991 and Florida Rule of Judicial Administration 2.215, 802 So. 2d 298 (Fla. 2001), the chief judge shall forthwith assign this case to a judge qualified to handle capital cases. A copy of the assignment order shall be served on the Florida Supreme Court.
