03/27/2002 DISP-REV GR MERITS (QUASH & REMAND) (TAG) Upon review of the Responses to this Court's Order to Show Cause dated December 20, 2001, the Court has determined that it should accept jurisdiction in this case. It is ordered that the Petition for Review is granted. With regard to Petitioner's constitutional challenges to the Prison Releasee Reoffender Punishment Act (PRRP), we affirm the First District's decision and we answer the certified question in the negative, consisistant with our decision in State v. Cotton, 769 So. 2d 345 (Fla. 2000). With regard to the Petitioner's challenge to his sentence for burglary of an unoccupied dwelling under the PRRP, we vacate the First District's decision and remand for reconsideration upon application of decision in State v. Huggins, 802 So. 2d 276 (Fla. 2001).
