Petitioner has file an "Emergency Motion to Relinquish Jurisdiction to Trial Court for Limited Purpose of Hearing Motion for Release Pending Appeal." Because this Court's previous October 30, 2003, order staying proceedings did not impact the circuit court's authority to exercise concurrent jurisdiction over the matter at issue, relinquishment is unneccessary and, therefore, the motion is hereby denied. The trial court is vested within jurisdiction to address and determine issues related to bond and release pending review in this Court.
