IT IS, THEREFORE, the order of the Court that the above cases are hereby consolidated for all appellate purposes and interested parties shall file their briefs on or before January 2, 2007, and serve a copy thereof on the Attorney General. Answer briefs shall be filed on or before January 22, 2007. Please file an original and eight copies of all briefs. AOSC04-84 dated September 13, 2004, counsel are directed to transmit a copy of all briefs in an electronic format as required by the provisions of that order. For the reasons stated, we hold that the initiative petition and proposed ballot title and summary for the "Funding of Embryonic Stem Cell Research" meet the legal requirements of article XI, section 3 of the Florida Constitution and section 101.161(1), Florida Statutes (2006). Likewise, the accompanying financial impact statement is in accordance with section 100.371(5). Accordingly, we approve the amendment and financial impact statement for placement on the ballot.
