We disapprove the reasoning and the rule of law articulated by the Fourth District, but we approve the ultimate result because, apparently unknown to appellate counsel and the Fourth District, the release-date letter--written under seal--provided in this case was simply used as a permissible means of authenticating an attached Crime and Time Report. See §§ 90.803(8), 90.902(1), Fla. Stat. (2004).
