Click to open document 08/31/2010 DISP-AFFIRMED Based upon the provisions of section 101.161(1), Florida Statutes, article XI, section 5, of the Florida Constitution, and our precedent, we hold that the ballot language setting forth the substance of Amendment 7 does not inform the voter of the true purpose and effect of the amendment on existing constitutional provisions and, further, is misleading. Accordingly, the judgment of the circuit court is affirmed and Amendment 7 may not be placed on the general election ballot for November 2010. NO MOTION FOR REHEARING WILL BE ALLOWED.
