04/10/2012 ORAL ARGUMENT HELD
Click to open document 05/10/2012 DISP-APPROVED Based on the foregoing, we recede from Cook and the rationale it relied upon in Thomas v. State ex rel. Cobb. Therefore, we hold that the term limits provided in Broward County's charter do not violate the Florida Constitution, and approve the Fourth District on different grounds. Any motion for rehearing must be filed within five days of the date of this opinion, and any response must be filed within three days of the filing of the motion.
