FSC-OPINION: For the reasons set forth above, we approve the First District's decision in Williams. We also disapprove the Fifth District's holding in Wilkerson that the "25 to life" provision in section 794.0115, Florida Statutes (2012), does not authorize trial courts to impose a mandatory minimum sentence anywhere in the range of twenty-five years to life regardless of the general statutory maximum for the crime. It is so ordered.
