Click to open document 12/13/2018 ORDER-RECORD SUPPLEMENTATION GR (CIRC CT) Appellee's Combined Motion to Correct the Transcript of Trial and Supplement the Record on Appeal (copy attached) is granted. The court reporters are directed, on or before January 14, 2019, to file with the trial court clerk the transcript of trial consecutively numbered as required by Rule 9.200(b)(2), as well as the transcript of the August 15, 2016, court proceeding and any other proceedings not already submitted. The transcript of trial/"Transcript Record" shall be in chronological order of court event, shall include a master trial index containing the names of the witnesses, list of exhibits and corresponding pages, as required by Rule 9.200(b)(2), and shall be paginated to exactly match the pagination of the master trial index as required by Rule 9.200(d)(2)(B). Counsel for appellant is directed to deliver a copy of this order to all court reporters involved in the transcription and to provide the necessary direction to ensure that the transcripts are filed within the time period designated. The trial court clerk is directed, on or before January 24, 2019, to file the corrected transcript of trial/"Transcript Record" and to supplement the record with the August 15, 2016, hearing transcript. Copies of the corrected transcript and supplemental record on appeal shall be served on all parties. Click to open document 01/30/2019 ORDER-RECORD (RETURNED FOR CORRECTION) Upon review of the supplemental record filed in the above cause, it is hereby ordered that the trial court clerk submit two corrected record PDFs on or before February 11, 2019. The trial court clerk is directed to file a supplemental record with the following items: transcript of August 15, 2016, proceedings (Change of Plea) and transcript of February 1, 2018, proceedings (Motions and Start of Penalty Phase). Page numbering should begin at Page 4517 and run consecutively. This supplemental record will replace the supplemental record filed January 23, 2019. The trial court clerk is further directed to file a separate transcript record that includes only the corrected trial transcript (Pages 1-1263) filed below on January 7, 2019. Pursuant to Rule 9.200(d)(1)(A), the transcript of the trial shall be kept separate from the remainder of the record on appeal and shall not be renumbered by the clerk. This corrected transcript record will replace the transcript record filed August 24, 2018. The trial court clerk is directed to serve copies on counsel for the parties. Pursuant to this Court's order dated December 13, 2018, appellant shall have 58 days from the filing of the above record in this Court in which to file the initial brief on the merits.

Click to open document 10/05/2020 ORDER-COUNS APPOINTMENT (POST-CONVICTION) Pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.851(b), the Office of the Capital Collateral Regional Counsel-Northern Region is hereby appointed to handle postconviction proceedings for appellant. The Office of the Capital Collateral Regional Counsel-Nothern Region shall, within thirty days from this date of this order, file a notice of appearance in the trial court or a motion to withdraw based on a conflict of interest or some other legal ground. A copy of the notice of appearance or motion to withdraw shall be served on the Florida Supreme Court. In accordance with this Court's opinion issued in Amendments to Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure 3.851, 3.852, and 3.991 and Florida Rule of Judicial Administration 2.215, 802 So. 2d 298 (Fla. 2001), the chief judge shall forthwith assign this case to a judge qualified to handle capital cases. A copy of the assignment order shall be served on the Florida Supreme Court.
