|
Pursuant to article IV, section 1(c), Florida Constitution, on April 19, 2006, the Governor of Florida has requested this Court's opinion on a question of constitutional interpretation affecting his executive powers and duties. The Court has determined that the request is within the purview of the above-noted constitutional provision and the Court will provide an opinion in response to the Governor's request. Interested parties shall file their briefs on or before April 24, 2006, and serve a copy on the Governor. Please file an original and eight (8) copies of all briefs. In addition to paper briefs, per this Court's Administrative Order In Re: Mandatory Submission of Electronic Copies of Documents AOSC04-84 dated September 13, 2004, counsel are directed to include a copy of all briefs in an electronic format as required by the provisions of that order. Briefs will be placed on the Court's Internet site (http://www.flcourts.org). The Motion to Expedite is hereby granted.
